Our Food
Our food is based on the classic American style of low and slow smoking.
Our meats smoke as low as possible for hours, often overnight to ensure a seriously tender, fall apart bite full of flavour and our sides are kissed by the smoke at every step.
From smoking the cheese in our potato skins and mac n cheese to slow smoking the vegetables for our stews and beans.
If it comes from us its been in a smoker.
Our Sauces, Rubs and Breads
In BBQ a key ingredient is of course the rubs that flavour the produce and the sauces that go side by side.
At Exmoor BBQ we pride ourselves on using local produce to create our own in house rubs and sauces that are inspired by American classic tastes but with a local twist, such as our Barbrook BBQ sauce, a sweet spicy rum based sauce made using Lynton’s own Scapegoat rum to our Lynton gold mustard based BBQ sauce which is perfect on beef, pork and some say even salad.
Even our bread and desserts are made in house, meaning every sandwich or slice you get from us has come directly from us with love.
