Hi Everyone,

We’re really excited to tell you that we’ll soon be starting our next series of popup events, taking place at the wonderful Valley of Rocks hotel. These events will be open to everyone, whether staying at the hotel, or just joining us for food, so come along and say hi, and try our delicious locally sauced, low and smoked offerings.

We’ll be there, usually, , on the last Friday of the month, starting Friday 30 October, from 18:00-22:00 or sold out. Food is eat in or collection..

Please note, monthly special, vegetarian option, and desert will be available. Please the board for details.

Portions

The Smoke Tray (£18.00): Texas style smoked brisket slices, North Carolina style pulled pork, Smoked chicken leg, Sausage of the month, BBQ pit beans, Coleslaw. Served with home made pickles and home made bread. 

Peach Tea Glazed Pork Belly Bites (£6.00): Smoked tender pork belly bites glazed in our home made peach tea reduction. 

Hot Sugar Chicken Wings (£6.00): Smoked and crisped whole skin on chicken wings coated with Jim Slim “Hot sugar” spice rub and our homemade Bar-Brook BBQ sauce.

Sides

BBQ Pit Beans (£5.00): Slow smoked mixed beans with root vegetables in a Smokey home made tomato sauce. 

Smoked Pork Fat Roast Potatoes (£5.00): Home made roast potatoes cooked in smoked rendered pork fat and seasoned with home made wild garlic salt. 

Seasonal Coleslaw (£3.00): A crisp mix of green and red cabbages with seasonal root vegetables freshly shredded and mixed with mayonnaise.
